Are you Lady Edith today? Or feeling a bit more Anna Bates in the scullery?

First launched in 2017 with a children’s range (prompted by the birth of the designers’ own kids), Faune introduced womenswear to the collection in 2020 with a range of luxury sleepwear inspired by vintage designs. Lest you think this is where you buy your winceyette pyjamas, Faune is very much a day to night (should that be night to day?) brand with delicate tops, strappy dresses and unstructured jackets featuring prettiest embroidery, quilting, covered buttons and ruffles in softest cotton and luxe satin in whites and creams. It would be a crying shame to keep these beautiful pieces for bedtime. Favourites include the Carnation coat (on my shopping list), the Carmen dress and the Hazel blouse.

Production is in India, with a family run manufacturer. Faune honour their commitment to the country with donations to The Rittana Children’s Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation that creates sustainable projects to support vulnerable street children.
